Massive Increase in Tourism due to e-tourist Visa India Initiative

The e-tourist visa initiative, which was rolled out in November 2014, has led to a massive increase in tourism for India. In the first three months of 2015, the number of tourists who arrived in India through the e-tourist visa scheme was 138,000, as compared to just 23,000 during the corresponding period in 2014. This is a fivefold increase and reflects the growing global popularity of India as a tourist destination. The e-tourist visa scheme allows foreign tourists to visit India. The e-tourist visa scheme for India was launched on January 1, 2015. The scheme allows foreigners to apply for an electronic visa online, and receive the visa within 72 hours. The scheme has been a massive success, with a huge increase in tourist arrivals. In the first six months of the scheme, the number of tourists arriving in India increased by 24%. In June alone, there was a 42% increase in tourist arrivals compared to the same month in 2014. The e-tourist visa scheme has been praised for its convenience and efficiency.

Difference between an e Visa and visit visa

There are a few key differences between an e Visa and a visit visa. An e Visa is an electronic visa that is issued online. It is valid for a single entry, and the holder can stay in the country for up to 90 days. A visit visa, on the other hand, is a physical visa that is stamped in your passport. It is valid for multiple entries, and the holder can stay in the country for up to 6 months.

There are many types of visas that allow people to travel to different countries. The most common are tourist visas and business visas. However, there are other types of visas, such as student visas and work visas etc.

One of the most common types of visas is the tourist visa. This visa allows people to visit a country for a certain amount of time for tourism. A business visa allows people to visit a country to conduct business. This type of visa is usually valid for a longer period than a tourist visa. Another type of visa is the student visa- depending on the country you are going to.

The e-Tourist Visa (e TV) is an electronic travel authorization that allows citizens of eligible countries to travel to India for tourism for a period of up to 60 days. The visa is issued online and applicants are not required to visit an Indian embassy or consulate. The visa application is simple and can be completed in minutes. The e- tourist visa is valid for one year from the date of issue and can be used for multiple entries into India. The objective of the e-Tourist Visa Scheme is to provide an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for foreign nationals intending to visit India for tourism.

The ETA will be electronically linked to the passport of the applicant. Once the applicant enters India, his/her biometric data will be collected at the immigration office and he/she will be allowed to stay in India for the duration of the visa.  The e-Tourist Visa Facility is an online application system for granting tourist visas to nationals of countries who are eligible for the same. The objective of this system is to offer a world-class experience to foreigners by providing an easy, convenient and transparent visa application process.

The e-Tourist Visa Facility allows foreigners to apply for a visa through the website of the Indian Mission concerned, or through the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India. The applicant is required to fill in the online application form by providing the required information.
